In the wake of the tornado devastation that ripped through the state of Kentucky on March 2, 2012, and claimed the lives of 22 people and destroyed the homes of thousands, local underground artists Rob Jackson and Da’Mon “Jup” Norris, have found away to give back through song. Pulling together a cast of local well-known musicians, they look to share Alright with everybody who will listen.
All proceeds of songs sales on ITunes will go to “Kentucky Cares” which supports the relief efforts of the American Red Cross.
Okay that was some heat. Let’s see what this EP, Pale Blue Dot is about!
Very nice!
Check out the Kenny Colombo Combo. Sometimes you all need to de-program and listen to something else. Atleast to somebody that’s doing something which requires some talent and skill. Thanks to Olaf Zwetsloot (sax & composer) for sending this through.
Another jam from Aural Sex. Dope. How many albums have you heard have this many dope jams on it? I’ll wait.
Straight out of H-Town! Check Out One of the realest spitters on the scene in H-town these days…known as Five Star Dank! Peep this, he’s also the go-to guy for video treatments, and screenplays & movie scripts.
This guy’s hustle alone should inspire anybody trying to make something out of nothing, let alone have a successful rap career. I’ve had the pleasure of listening to a couple of his tracks, pre-mixed. His affiliations in the city of syrup are not needed in this mention, so no name drops..just stay tuned for more from this up and coming STAR, 5 STAR!
